Swimming Stadium Denmark is part of Sport & Event Park Esbjerg, which is an independent institution with its own board of directors. This means that everything SEPE runs is owned by Esbjerg Municipality. The only thing that is not municipal is the 100 or so employees around the organization.
Swimming Stadium Denmark is Denmark’s largest water park with a competition section, tropical water park with slides, counter-current channel, wave pool, children’s pools and a cafe area, Roman section, activity pool, diving tower and seesaws.
On September 10, 1996, the former Princess Alexandra inaugurated the large water park and today we have approximately 300,000 guests per year.
On the first floor of Svømmestadion Danmark is Esbjerg Spa & Wellness, the newest department of Sport & Event Park Esbjerg. Here you will find a 600 m2 spa and wellness area, with the option to purchase various health, cosmetology and traditional spa treatments, which are performed by our well-trained staff.
