Saunagus in Roman Baths

In the Swimming Stadium Denmark, saunagus is held which takes place in the sauna in Roman Baths.

It costs 60,- DKK to participate and can be purchased well in advance at the reception.

The sauna massage lasts 3 x 10 minutes and here you can experience our skilled massage masters swinging the towel so that you can enjoy the warm breaths and the wonderful scents from the oils. It is a good idea to bring a water bottle here, as the sauna massage really provides the heat, which means you get rid of a lot of fluid during this hour.

We hold sauna classes at varying times and always close the sauna 10 minutes before the class starts. You can see when in our online calendar:

Time, water and heat almost stand still…

… the stress level decreases, and the mind becomes filled with peace and tranquility.

Relax your muscles in the spa or in the hot pool. Enjoy the large steam room or a trip to the soft sauna or Finnish sauna. If you’re really fit, you can also take a dip in the cold pool.

But also remember to enjoy the peace and relax in the wicker or deck chairs with the newspaper and a nice chat with the other bathers.

Cold, warm and cozy

Try the cold or hot water assini.

Calm down

In the Roman bath you can also relax in the wicker chairs with the day’s newspapers. When your body is stressed out, it’s a good idea to lie down in the loungers and maybe take a little nap.

Phew…

There is hardly anything as relaxing as floating around in a pool with 34 °C warm water. Here you can literally find peace for both body and soul before everyday life gets in the way again.

Iiiiiiiscold

The cold thrill is a big “hit” with both young and old. The icy shock after a trip to the sauna, or a quick tonic before heading back to relax in the warm pool.

A steam bath stimulates the body

The steam bath increases blood circulation so that the body is cleansed with the sweat that comes out through the enlarged pores. Relaxation of the mind and relief of the stressed body. The heat has a relaxing effect that stimulates both body and soul.
Finish the steam bath with a cold shower, which gives a feeling of freshness and energy.

Facts

A trip to the hot steam room has many benefits, including:

  • It promotes blood circulation
  • May relieve arthritis pain
  • Moisturize the skin
  • Reduce wrinkles

At the same time, it is a lovely, pleasant and relaxing experience.

AND Remember…
…Drink water, juice or something else after using the steam room or the other hot pools.

Bubbling lovely relaxation

After a long swim in the competition pool, it is pure well-being to immerse your body in the spa’s 38°C warm water.

But the spa is also wonderful when you want to de-stress after a long day at work, or just want to pamper yourself.

Facts about the hot tub

In the Danish Swimming Stadium there are two spas – one in the water park with a view of the wave pool and one in the Roman section.

The water is 38 degrees warm, and the many bubbles have a relaxing and soothing effect on many sore bodies.
